HAIR CAREPerfect Hair: Care Guide

Your hair deserves a little extra love—especially when wearing extensions or protective styles. Here’s how to keep your look flawless, fresh, and full of life:

1. Cleanse Regularly

To maintain that salon-fresh feel, we suggest washing your hair every 1-2 weeks. Always detangle first with a wide-tooth comb or wig brush before cleansing. You can alternate between co-washing (conditioner only) and a clarifying shampoo to keep product buildup at bay while preserving softness and shine.

2. Keep It Nourished

Deep conditioning is a non-negotiable, especially for curly textures. Hydrate your strands to bring out your curls, prevent dryness, and maintain a soft, manageable feel. Think of this as your reset button for moisture and bounce.

3. Dry Thoroughly

After washing, ensure your entire head—including your braids underneath—is fully dry to avoid mildew or odor. A hooded dryer or blow dryer on a cool setting works best. If your bundles aren’t installed yet, allow them to air dry naturally for best results.

4. Nighttime Protection

Wrap your hair before bed to lock in moisture and reduce frizz. We recommend using both a satin scarf and a satin pillowcase (just in case that scarf slips off during the night!). This keeps your style looking polished and helps prevent dryness.

5. Define Those Waves & Curls

If you’re rocking curls or waves, nighttime maintenance is key. Section your hair, then braid or twist it before bed to keep your pattern intact. A little effort at night goes a long way toward defined, beautiful hair in the morning.

6. Go Easy on Heat

Heat tools should be used sparingly. If you wear your extensions straight, we suggest wrapping your hair at night to maintain a sleek look without daily heat. Want curls? Try pin curls or flexi rods as a safer styling option. Your strands (and your leave-out) will thank you.
